
A book titled Chinas Development in the New Era & The Zhejiang Experience was jointly introduced by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and Zhejiang International Communication Center (ZICC) at an occasion in Beijing on Thursday.The occasion started with the official release of the book authored by David W.
Ferguson, FLPs honorary English chief editor.
Through thorough interviews and observations, the book delves into east Chinas Zhejiang from viewpoints including opening up, the personal economy, the digital economy and green performance.
In 60,000 words of storytelling of genuine occasions and individualss lives, Ferguson shares his ideas about Zhejiangs contribution to Chinas sustainable advancement trajectory.Ferguson took part in a conversation with people he interviewed for the book, providing behind-the-scenes stories during its production.
Representatives from the public communication departments of Yiwu, Anji, Deqing and Kecheng, and global trainees from Beijings universities got copies of the book.During conversations, visitors shared views on the new book and emphasized its significance in promoting a much deeper understanding of Chinasdevelopment and modernization to foreign readers.During the event FLP and ZICC presented Decode China: David Fergusons Storytelling, a convergence media series based upon the book, in an effort to inform interesting stories of Chinas modernization to the world by pooling the strengths of central and regional media.
